First elected in 2013,  I have served 3 terms.   I was also elected in 2017 and 2021

I am very careful when it comes to a municipal platform.   I am very aware that there are 6 other individuals voting and bringing forward their own ideas and thoughts on governance.  I believe in collaborative decision making, listening first and adapting as our city grows/changes.   To me,  effective leadership is about being responsive, flexible, and open to new solutions that meet the needs of residents today,  but also plan for the future.  Click Here to see a snapshot of what is important to me. 

This is a hard question because I really do love Airdrie.  I love our parks, pathways, access to sports & recreation.  I love the people who are my neighbors, business colleagues, and new aquaintances I meet every week.  Most of all I love the potential for Airdrie to become the best place to live in Canada.  

I believe we can always be better.   I think with a city our size and with the rapid growth that Airdrie and the region has experienced in the last 20 years that there is always room for improvement and innovation.  Growth has placed pressures in and around our City for many years.   I hope to continue to advocate for smart growth and the services that need to accompany it from all levels of government.
